CM: Why the chances of Milan signing Ziyech from Chelsea are ‘close to zero’

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan were hoping to finally bring Hakim Ziyech to the club in the January window but the chances of it happening are ‘close to zero’, a report claims.

Ziyech has been linked with a move to Milan over the past few transfer windows given that he has not had much playing time with Chelsea since his arrival from Ajax, and after a fantastic World Cup with Morocco those hopes have been very much rekindled.

According to a report from Calciomercato.com, both the management and the head coach Stefano Pioli strongly believe that signing Ziyech would be beneficial for the squad, raising the quality of the attack.

Despite this, the chances of seeing Ziyech wear the Milan shirt in January are ‘close to zero’ as per the source. The economic conditions dictated by both the player with regards to personal terms and his Chelsea are too high for the Rossoneri at present.
