Two Premier League sides have been alerted by the fact that Ismael Bennacer has decided to change agent and has not yet agreed a renewal with AC Milan, a report claims.
According to Calciomercato.com, there is renewed English interest in signing Bennacer, who celebrated his 25th birthday yesterday. The Algeria international is under contract until June 2024 while Milan are working to try and extend that deadline.
Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have a new agreement in mind that would see a salary increase from €1.5m to €3-4m net per season, but that may not be enough as interest continues to mount among top clubs around Europe.
The report also adds that his new agent Enzo Raiola has been contacted by Manchester United and also Chelsea, who are already on the trail of winger Rafael Leao. Therefore, it cannot be excluded that the Blues try a double swoop in the coming months.
