There are a number of talents on display, but it is Christian Pulisic that has attracted the eyes of Milan. Thomas Tuchel deployed him all across the attack which he was not a huge fan of, while under Graham Potter the natural left winger is yet to make a single start.
The Daily Mail claim that Manchester United, Arsenal and Newcastle United are monitoring Pulisic’s situation, but the Calciomercato.it report states that Milan, Inter and Juventus are also keen.
Relations with Chelsea are positive as seen with the Bakayoko, Tomori and Giroud deals, which could play in the Rossoneri’s favour. It could be that Milan are forced to pursue him as Rafael Leao’s replacement or as a reinforcement on the right.
I’d give them Leao if I can get this guy plus €80m. I don’t want us to end up regretting not selling Leao because we thought we could renew him by being patient and hoping he’d budge in his demands.
These rumours..if true are in my opinion being circulated to justify the imminent Leao sale. He celebrated his goal for Portugal be using his hand as a phone….suspicious? Asking for a move or inviting calls?
I’d only sell him to City for money plus Julian Alvarez….and only in the summer. Alvarez solves our striker issue. Then we can go for a left sided player we want, not a Chelsea offcast. Perhaps Lang or Okafor
I like the pulisic option. Not as a replacement for leao but his versatility. Definetly wait till summer. Get the most out of leao and rebuild the attack in summer.
