Mediaset: Chelsea want to secure replacement before letting winger join Milan

By Oliver Fisher -

Another source has confirmed that AC Milan are interested in a deal for Hakim Ziyech but something must happen before Chelsea let him go.

Ziyech is finding very little playing time under Graham Potter just as he did under previous head coach Thomas Tuchel which means he could seek to find a new club where he is more of a protagonist, and his two goal contributions in three games at the World Cup (1 goal, 1 assist) certainly puts him in the shop window.

According to what is being reported by SportMediaset (via MilanNews), Milan want to add quality to their attacking department in the January transfer window and to achieve this Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have targeted Ziyech.

As mentioned the 29-year-old is having an excellent World Cup but a lot will depend on Chelsea’s moves, because before giving the go-ahead for a possible loan deal, the Blues want to find a replacement for the Moroccan.

  1. If you want a good talented young and experienced right winger, Dumfries is a great choice. And he’s used to wearing blue 😂😂
