Report claims Chelsea have made stance on midfielder clear after Milan enquiry

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have enquired about the possibility of signing Carney Chukwuemeka from Chelsea on what would be another loan deal, a report claim.

According to Football.London, Milan have asked about the potential of signing Chukwuemeka on a loan with option to buy deal, but Chelsea do not want to include any clause in the deal that could see it become permanent.

The Blues are open to the notion of sending the 19-year-old midfielder out on loan this summer to get him more playing time after he made just 14 league appearances last season, which was his first in west London since joining from Aston Villa.

The source states that Chukwuemeka is ‘still very highly rated by those at the club’ and that is why they do not want to lose him, especially with Mauricio Pochettino arriving as head coach.

The report goes on to mention that Ruben Loftus-Cheek is also expected to leave Chelsea, who the Rossoneri have been linked with recently too.

    1. We missed that chance when he costed only 8mil. We decided to pay 5 for Bakayoko loan. Also targeting Italian players from this Milan? Please, they would rather go for some unknown french player lol.

      1. Unfortunately you are correct. Ricci, Baldanzi, Zaniolo, Scammacca should all be targets but we will sign none of them.

      2. Are you serious?
I thought we signed him then… I remember our Mr. Charm was still around and used his charm to convince Ricci, we didn’t sign Bakayoko.

      3. 8 millions? Last summer, our offer was rejected by Aston Villa as it was lower than Chelsea’s offer of 20 millions.

        1. Of were you talking about Ricci istead of Chukwuemeka? In his case, you were right, Moncada didn’t really have good scouting network inside Italy.

    2. samuelle ricci would actually have been a player i would have picked up earlier and rossi is propably right that he will not be an easy buy by now.

  1. Please for the love of all things good and holy.

DO NOT LOAN AND DEVELOP FOR OTHER TEAMS. If there’s no option to make it permanent, I think we better scoot and find better alternatives. We’re not a farmhouse for other teams ffs.

  2. If only there was a Chelsea defensive midfielder they needed to offload who was available relatively low cost and had plenty of international and first team Serie A experience…

Oh wait, there is, it’s Ethan Ampadu.

  3. Don’t repeat Brahim Diaz style : We only upgrade young player and when he ready, his club harvest it.

Just forget him, and focus to Pobega. He is good for cover for now. And then Yacine Adli, he can play deeper like he has done at Bordeaux.
