It seems as though tomorrow’s training session will be key as Stefano Pioli continues to try various solutions to cope with Rafael Leao’s absence against Napoli.
Leao against Napoli as he will be disqualified due to the red card he got last Saturday against Sampdoria after receiving two yellow cards, and with both Divock Origi and Ante Rebic both missing the game, it leaves a whole on the left flank.

MilanNews reports that in today’s training at Milanello, Pioli tried several players on the left flank and at the moment the favourite to replace the Portuguese is Alexis Saelemaekers, who would switch over from the right.
However, in a separate update they report that the Milan boss also tried a Christmas tree 4-3-2-1 with the inclusion of Tommaso Pobega in the midfield three and with Brahim Diaz and Charles De Ketelaere behind Olivier Giroud.
