Alphadjo Cisse has shared his thoughts on the move to AC Milan, speaking to the club’s official channels in an interview that was released today.
It was during the January window that Milan sealed the deal for Cisse, reaching an agreement with Hellas Verona to fend off the competition. The attacking midfielder remained at Catanzaro to finish his season-long loan, but joined the Rossoneri squad this summer.

He got to make his first minutes with the red and black shirt against Celtic last night. While it wasn’t a lot of playing time, he looked very comfortable on the ball and impressed, especially considering he only just returned from injury.
During his interview with the club, he was not only asked about the transfer but also about the injury. He sustained it right after the Milan announcement and was forced to sit on the sidelines for the remainder of the 2025-26 season.
On the move to Milan…
“I have waited for this moment ever since I first touched a ball. Being here is amazing and I will definitely try to repay the favour that I was given.”
On Milan…
“It’s significant because this is one of the biggest clubs in the world. Perhaps it’s a bit difficult to truly understand what being here really means. But I’m glad to be able to show what I can do in this stadium, where so many great champions have played. It’s truly special.”
On his Milan fandom…
“I have been a fan since childhood. When I was younger, I was given tapes to watch the games, and I would watch Ronaldinho. So that was another reason for coming here, and I’m really happy about this.”
On the recent injury…
“The injury brought up some mixed emotions because I had just signed for Milan, and then I got injured a week later. The operation was also tough for me, but I always try to look at the positives. I had signed for a big club like Milan and that’s some you cannot take for granted.
“I think this experience did me good, because it pushed me to improve myself, to get to know myself better, and to work on the problems I had before that caused the injury,” he concluded.
I Mean he Lost most of the previous season he should stay with Futuro for this season.
Maybe promote Bonomi instead?
He deserves to be with the first team.
He is far more than serie D player.
