AC Milan have chosen the architects for their new stadium which will be built separately from Inter and the San Siro area, a report claims.
As has been reported by Il Cittadino (via Milan News), the architects for Milan’s new stadium will be a firm called Manica. They will be working together with CAA Icon.

The two companies have worked together before to create the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, meaning they have experience in the field.
They want to create a cutting-edge stadium which will be able to host all of Milan’s home matches going forward, but can also host concerts and other major events which will lead to increased revenue for the club which they cannot currently make at San Siro.
Whilst there was a desire for Inter and Milan to share a new stadium, that idea appears dead in the water with both clubs pushing ahead with their own projects.
Lets hope that stadium will be finished before 2030

I looked it up on wikipedia and even though i think it looks fine from within, the stadium then on the first photo at the top of the page it kinda look like a huge bathtub so i seriously hope our design will greatly differ from that as its an eye sore as i see it.
I just googled what happened to Cathedral after Milan choose Manica over Populous. It turns out that the design for the cathedral was taken by Inter.
Yes it is. But “The Catedral” is a bit sound like blasphemy to Duomo di Milano, though. It’s okay, as long as we will get stadium like Allegiant or even better.
No, Inter is the one who want to build a stadium together. Cardinale always want to build it alone, proved by how Cardinale manage his clubs at USA.
Milan is financially healthy and Inter financially broke. They might get FFP’s fine soon. So this point is very favorable for Milan to build his own stadium, invest optimal for longer future and Inter will invest little to keep their balanced sheet healthy, and impact their longer future.
So maybe in 1 decade, Inter will found themselves struggle to compete with Milan in all aspects.
stadiums and general infrastructure like building better training grounds doesnt affect ffp. The real issues for inter is their huge depts and the fact that china a few years back made it far more difficult to invest chinese money abroad.
