After a difficult start to life at AC Milan, Sergino Dest seems to have steadied himself and is now hoping to continue moving in the right direction.
Dest’s arrival at Milan was rushed through quickly as the right-back was getting little playing time at Barcelona and the Rossoneri needed cover because of Alessandro Florenzi’s serious injury towards the back end of August.
Things did not start well for the USA international as he struggled in his first few appearances and made errors, however his last couple of appearances at club level had bright spots and he was one of the best performers for his country in Friday’s draw with England at the World Cup.
According to Calciomercato.com, Dest is growing in confidence and is increasingly convinced of his own qualities. The former Ajax man even has a mission in mind: he wants to convince Milan to invest €20m to buy him from Barcelona, certainly implying that he is already feeling happy in Italy.
