CM.it: There is a four-day window in which Milan expect to secure first summer signing

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan are expecting to have the signing of Japanese midfielder Daichi Kamada secured by the time July has begun, with a specific four-day window looking very likely.

As has been reported by Calciomercato.it, the Eintracht Frankfurt player looks like he should be the first player that Milan sign this summer as they seek to build a side that can fight for the Scudetto.

He will be out of contract with his current Bundesliga side at the end of June and the current bureaucratic issue that has been slowing the move down is coming to a resolution.

The club are pushing for his agents to be registered in Italy and the report theorises that between June 28 and July 1, the matter should be solved and Kamada can then arrive for his medical tests with the club.

The 26-year-old will come into the squad after Brahim Diaz has gone back to Real Madrid, meaning he can be viewed as a clear replacement for the Spaniard.

    1. Exactly what I’m thinking
They talk about how it “was closed” for like 2 months already, no?
I guess Maldini’s departure made its impact on him
Call me pessimistic, but I see him sign for Liverpool in the end…
