CM: Icardi keeps scoring at Galatasaray – the latest on his future as Serie A trio observe

By Oliver Fisher -

Mauro Icardi continues to score important goals for Galatasaray and a return to Serie A in the summer cannot be ruled out, according to a report.

As Calciomercato.com report, Icardi has 18 goals and 8 assists in 23 games on loan at the Turkish club from PSG, at an average of one goal every 97 minutes. His most recent brace put Galatasaray eight points clear of Fenerbahce in second, with a first title since 2018-19 now approaching.

Once his loan spell expires Icardi return to PSG where he is still under contract – earning €9m net per year – until June 2024. The goal of the Argentine forward is to pack his bags again, and a return to Galatasaray cannot be excluded.

With or without his agent Wanda Nara (the couple are once again in crisis as they have apparently separated) there will be a number of opportunities for the former Inter man, including in Italy.

Milan have him on their list, but he remains only in the background as the last ‘low cost’ option as younger targets are being prioritised at the moment.

Juventus could make a move if Arkadiusz Milik and Moise Kean do not stay, but Roma are seriously considering him too, so there are options and decisions to be made.

    1. 🤣🤣🤣
This here comment got me dying. And it’s even funnier when you realize that it’s the truth. Good one mate👍

    2. “Borini keeps scoring for Karagumruk,he scored 20 goals this season, more than icardi ,should we sign him too?”

LOL!!!!!!! That “kind of” invalidates Icardi’s so-called achievement. So basically anyone can score double digits in Turkey and shouldn’t be used as a reference. Borini, FFS. 😀 😀 😀
