CM.it: Milan and Juventus monitoring Sergio Ramos situation – latest on Real Madrid’s stance

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan and Juventus are both studying the idea of a move for Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos, according to a report.

Ramos has entered what is his last year of his contract with Real Madrid and the defender is attracting the interest of some of the big clubs around Europe, despite his agent and the fact that the player would gladly remain with Los Blancos if the two parties can agree on a deal.

Eduardo Inda – the director of OKDIARIO – spoke about the situation regarding Ramos (as reported by Calciomercato.it) and confirmed that at the moment the parties are very far apart, but sooner or later a meeting point could be found.

The problem is linked to the length of the deal, because the player would like to have a two-year contract but the club want a year by year renewal.

In addition, Ramos knows he has leverage from the fact that other clubs are interested, as the report going on to mention that Juventus will match his salary and give him a two-year contract, while Milan are also ‘following the evolution of the story’ and are waiting for the right moment to launch their attempt.
