AC Milan face a battle against two teams if they are to land Rubin Kazan star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, according to a report.

Calciomercato.com reported how Kvaratskhelia’s ambition is to be the protagonist in one of the ‘top four’ European leagues and that is why the rumours have begun to swirl, with Milan having a concrete interest in him.

According to the information collected by Calciomercato.it, not only Milan are interested in Kvaratskhelia as Juventus are also keen. Some overseas clubs have also started talking to the player’s entourage, and among them is Ajax.

The report adds that a meeting between the representatives of the Dutch club and the winger’s entourage is expected soon to evaluate if there are grounds to move forward. To snatch him from Rubin Kazan, an amount close to €20-25m will be needed, plus a percentage on future resale. Kvaratskhelia has four goals and eight assists in 22 Premier Liga games.
