CM.it: Real Madrid ready to let winger leave for free – Milan’s interest could intensify

By Oliver Fisher -

Lucas Vazquez is expected to say goodbye to Real Madrid at the end of the season, and he could reportedly become a concrete target for Milan.

Milan appear to be attentive to potential low-cost deals as seen by the fact that numerous sources in Italy and in France have reported that the management are in talks with Marseille winger Florian Thauvin over a move on a free next June.

According to a report from Calciomercato.it, there could be another opportunity for the Rossoneri management in the form of Lucas Vazquez, who will leave Real Madrid at no cost because they have no intention of renewing his contract expiring next June.

The Spaniard can play on either wing, and the report claims that the 29-year-old could become an ‘excellent opportunity’ for the Italian clubs, adding that Milan could go from simple admiration to more concrete interest.

If Milan were to return to the Champions League, the flexibility of the forward would be very useful to Pioli, who also has a reachable salary of about €3.5m net per season.
