CM: Kulusevski reaches a crossroads – Milan are admirers but prefer Real Madrid man

By Oliver Fisher -

Another crossroads is approaching for Dejan Kulusevski and he is a player who has always been held in high regard by the AC Milan management, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com report that Kulusevski is currently facing two options: either remain at Spurs or return to Italy. Everything will depend on two factors, namely the choice of the new head coach and Spurs winning a place in the next edition of the Champions League.

The Swedish winger left Juventus in January 2022 to move to Spurs on a €10m loan with an obligation to buy under certain conditions, which is set at €35m and is based on playing 50% of the games in 2022-23.

A return to Juve should not be ruled out, but he has a contract expiring in 2024 and without a renewal he will be sold, but not for the €45m that Juve asked for last year.

Milan likes his profile a lot and he was actually offered to the Rossoneri in January 2022, but at the moment Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have other goals including Marco Asensio, as per the report.

  1. Very good option and should not be too expensive with contract running down.
Juve will need to get money in given all their problems
Top 4 would be necessary to attract these kind of players. Right now top 4 looks tough for us given the remaining fixtures

  2. He had a very promising start in serie A when he was at Parma, but since then he has stagnated.
His whole game is based on counter attack. We only have players that are only good on the counter, we actually need someone that can create and help open a team that sits back and parks the bus.
He is also very much one footed.
Not much of an upgrade over Messias.
