The season opener is fast approaching and AC Milan are working hard on the mercato to offload some of the outcasts. In attack, Divock Origi is proving to be a difficult player to sell, but the plan hasn’t changed.

Milan have done well to reinforce the attack this summer with the likes of Samuel Chukwueze, Noah Okafor, Christian Pulisic and Luka Romero. However, the Rossoneri are also working on reducing the number of attackers in the squad.
Divock Origi is the first culprit that comes to mind, as reported by Calciomercato.com, given that Milan left him out of the USA tour. Even though he will be back in training today, the plan hasn’t changed. The Rossoneri want to sell him but only the Turkey hypothesis appears to be alive still.
Lorenzo Colombo is another player that has been linked with a move but Milan are considering keeping him in the squad. Five teams, including Genoa and Verona, have expressed their interest in the player though and Milan haven’t fully closed the door to a loan.
Should Milan offload both Origi and Colombo, then a young striker will be signed by the management. First, however, the departues must be completed.
