Renato Sanches is a player who has been reborn at Lille this season, but AC Milan are not inclined to make a bid for his as per a report.

As Calciomercato.com writes, four years ago Renato was considered one of the most exciting young talents in Europe. Bayern Munich paid €35m to land him and expectations were high, but things did not go well in Bavaria.

Despite this, the 23-year-old seems to have found his rhythm again at Lille where he has become a key player in a team that is two wins away from winning the title. That is why he has become a target for some top clubs, with Jose Mourinho and Roma keen on signing him.

Their new American ownership seem oriented to give the green light to the negotiation under the direction of Jorge Mendes, but Lille value Sanches at over €30m, aware that in the summer there will also be proposals from various Premier League clubs that have shown some interest.

In recent days the name of Renato Sanches has also been associated with Milan, but the report adds that at present the Rossoneri are not likely to making a major investment for the midfield because the focus instead will be on the growth of Sandro Tonali.
