AC Milan are looking to sign players in three positions in the January transfer window, according to a report.
The transfer window may have only closed last Monday, but there have been rumours doing the rounds that the Rossoneri could look to move for players in a number of different positions to complete the squad.
According to a report from Calciomercato.com, sporting director Frederic Massara and technical director Paolo Maldini are already at work thinking ahead to the winter mercato, devising a strategy to help bolster the options available to head coach Stefano Pioli.
The outlet claims that Milan are targeting players in three positions once the window reopens: a central defender, a central midfielder and a striker who would become a deputy to Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
It was widely reported that the Rossoneri failed to sign a centre-back despite their attempts late in the window, while a number of midfielders were also linked like Tiemoue Bakayoko and Boubakary Soumare.
