AC Milan are still in talks with the entourage of Marseille star Florian Thauvin as he continues to impress this season, a report claims.
He got a goal and an assist in Marseille’s 2-1 win over Monaco yesterday, taking his total for the season to 5 goals and 6 assists in 12 Ligue 1 games.
According to Calciomercato.com, Thauvin continues to shine and Milan continues to observe. His contract with Marseille will expire at the end of the season and he is ready to change and embrace a new challenge. Everything is set up for a farewell on a free transfer, and Milan is there.
Contacts between the entourage of the former Newcastle man and the Rossoneri are alive and continuous, with Maldini and Massara having presented an offer.
The directors have tabled a four-year contract worth €3m net per season. Milan’s idea is to bring him in for next season as they don’t want to upset the balance that the current wingers have.
