CM: Medical scheduled as Milan complete deal for talented Copenhagen striker

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan should soon be able announce the signing of a striker, but not a reinforcement for the first team and instead one for the Primavera.

According to Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri management are continuing their search for a new deputy to Olivier Giroud but in the meantime they are also hunting for additions to Abate’s squad, and they seem to have found one.

The report claims that the 17-year-old forward Alexander Simmelhack will soon arrive for his medical and will sign his contract with Milan.

He is described as a power centre-forward at 190cm height, and he arrives from Copenhagen. He will integrate the youth team at first, obviously with the aim of making it to the senior side in time.

During 24 games in the U19 Boys League in Denmark, Simmelhack has scored 16 goals and has added four assists, while he also has a goal and an assist in five UEFA Youth League games.
