CM: Midfielder determined to prove himself at Milan after difficult year as Torino circle

By Oliver Fisher -

Midfielder Rade Krunic is back from injury and is ready to try and relaunch his AC Milan career between now and the end of the season.

Calciomercato.com notes how the Bosnia international has been training for two days at Milanello individually, taking his first steps on the field after the foot fracture that has kept him out since February.

He wants to play a ‘starring role’ if the season manages to resume and to turn around his fortunes after a difficult start to life as a Rossoneri player.

Up until this point Krunic has lost the duel with Franck Kessie to partner Ismael Bennacer, but the 26-year-old did make inroads in November.

It will be months of reflection for Milan in view of the new season and the revolution that will likely begin with the hiring of Ralf Rangnick.

For Krunic therefore it will be essential to demonstrate that he can also be important for the next technical project, to avoid the risk of leaving after just a year.

On the other hand, clubs are already beginning to take note. Torino are ready to rekindle their interest, but the player is certain that he wishes to make it work at Milan.
