CM: Milan’s advantage over Barcelona and Real Madrid in Guler pursuit

Arda Guler has ended up on the radar of AC Milan, as well as several big European clubs, and the pursuit has become rather difficult for the Rossoneri. However, they still have one advantage, a report claims.

At the age of 18, Guler has already made 51 appearances for Fenerbahce’s first team, finding the back of the net six times and assisting an additional seven goals this past season. Earlier this week, he also scored his first goal for Turkey with a great strike.

In short, it’s not strange that many big teams are after him and as reported by Calciomercato.com, Milan are indeed in the race. They are willing to pay the €17.5m release clause but the problem is that four-five teams have the same stance.

Furthermore, Guler’s entourage (his family) is currently asking for a high commission and that makes a swift agreement difficult, as the report continues.

Milan do have an advantage over Barcelona and Real Madrid, though, as the Spanish sides want to send out Guler on loan immediately. The Rossoneru, however, could give him a starting role.
