AC Milan could close the signing of winger Gustav Isaksen from FC Midtjylland having reached a verbal agreement over transfer fee and personal terms.
According to Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Milan have got a deal lined up for Isaksen having reached a verbal agreement both with the Danish winger over personal terms and with Midtjylland over fee.
In the next few days the final decision will arrive, and Isaksen could be either a low-cost reinforcement for the attacking department or potentially the replacement for Alexis Saelemaekers who could be sold.
The 22-year-old has played the majority of his games for the Danish club as a right winger, scoring 23 goals and adding 14 assists in 63 appearances across all competitions.
However, he also has 13 goals and 7 assists in 37 games as a left winger, plus 11 goals and 6 assists in 24 games as a centre-forward too.
Last season, he racked up 22 goals and 9 assists in 45 games including 3 goals and 2 assists in 8 Europa League matches. He scored home and away against Lazio.
Looks like a good player but he plays Left Winger and Central striker…. I don’t know if he can play right winger too

During the early and mid part of the season he was played as RW but at the later part, he was converted to CF.
I have seen highlights on YouTube were he played on the right. He would make a good addition if we can get him.

I just found out that he was converted to CF during the latter part of the season and become prolific, especially against bottom half of the league but not as lone striker.

He might be good might be Hauge (he was also amazing in a weaker league), probably wort the risk…
I understand your sentiment in regard of youth matches but id say Isaksen easily could be a good aquisition and i think it would be a mistake to exlude players from weaker leagues, for example rasmus højlund wasnt a succes in demark and look at him now.

Decent stats. But… CDK had “decent stats” in Belgium and one could argue Belgium league is tougher than the one in Denmark. So people shouldn’t be expecting Haaland-figures from him in Serie A.
This is a good singing for Milan. I hope this is real. Isaksen is a beast. Great player for the RW. I am really happy about this transfer news.

At first he will come off the bench to sub in for Saelemakers but can also be used as a back up left-winger for Leao. Then he will start as a right winger with Saelemakers coming off the bench. With him and Pulisic we have a lot of options on offense. Both can play on both wings and Pulisic can and should start as our CAM
ACM only buy him if can sell saladmaker. That would be hard to sell saladmaker. This gustav isaksen remind me of hauge , low cost but bring capital gain in the end

He is mainly a RW’er. He played the last few months of the season as a CF but only because we got a new coach who went from a 4-3-3 to a 4-4-2. And since we lacked enough quality CF’s at that time, Isaksen was converted into a CF with great success.
