CM: Milan and Liverpool retain interest in Bundesliga defender – asking price slashed by €10m

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are still interested in a move for Schalke 04 defender Ozan Kabak, a report claims, with his asking price having been significantly lowered.

A number of different sources have reported that Milan could very well go back in for Kabak when the window reopened having failed with an attempt to sign the 20-year-old late in the summer window

According to what is being reported by Calciomercato.com, the German club have lowered their price tag from €35m to €25m for Kabak, who is under contract in Gelsenkirchen until 2024.

The new asking price is a figure still considered a bit too high by the Milan management, who are working to obtain a further reduction by using the will of the player, who is ready to join a historic European club.

However, there is some strong competition from England, where Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are also on the trail of the Turkey international given the current crisis they are suffering with in defence.
