CM: Tonali sale sees Milan go back in for Chelsea duo with uncertain future

By Oliver Fisher -

The news of Sandro Tonali’s now imminent move to Newcastle United has sparked AC Milan’s incoming market into life, and they are back on the trail of Christian Pulisic as per a report.

According to Calciomercato.com, Milan were speaking to Chelsea about Tonali but the discussion has not stopped there, because chief scout Geoffrey Moncada is a big admirer of the qualities of Carney Chukwuemeka.

At the moment the London club have not made a decision on the former Aston Villa man and are waiting for signals from the new head coach Mauricio Pochettino. Milan have confirmed their interest and asked to be informed of Chelsea’s plans.

A concrete option for the attack is Pulisic, who Milan have been talking with for weeks and have established that the esteem is mutual and the USA international would like to join.

The terms of the deal could be advantageous given his deal runs out in 2024 and the liquidity obtained from the sale of Tonali will allow the Rossoneri to satisfy the €4m net per season salary demands.
