CM: Milan closing in on long-term renewal for star amid Man City and PSG links

Theo Hernandez has recovered from Covid-19 and after his 45-min appearance mid-week, he will play from start tomorrow evening as AC Milan will face Roma. A boost for the Rossoneri, who are working on his renewal.

There’s no doubt that the Frenchman is a key player for Stefano Pioli’s side and it’s also not a surprise that several big teams are following his progress. According to Calciomercato.com, Milan are working hard on the renewal.

In fact, they are in advanced talks with the player’s agent over a renewal until 2026, having presented an offer of €3m per year plus bonuses. To get the green light, however, Milan will have to up their initial bid to €4m plus bonuses.

New talks between the parties are expected in the coming days and Paolo Maldini knows an effort is needed. Hernandez currently earns €1.5m per year and the Rossoneri are happy to grant him a raise, amid interest from Man City and Paris Saint-Germain.
