CM: Milan director could leave after just one year – two possible destinations on the cards

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan sporting director Ricky Massara is getting close to leaving the club after just one year in his role, a report claims.

All the speculation at the moment points towards another imminent revolution for the Rossoneri, with Ralf Rangnick seemingly set to arrive as both the head coach and man in charge of recruitment.

With this there would be some sacrifices and departures as certain current key figures would not accept their influence being marginalised, and among those are director duo Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara.

According to the latest from Calciomercato.com reported Daniele Longo on Twitter, Massara is moving towards saying farewell to Milan with a return to Roma possibly on the cards.

Bologna are the other team who are interested in acquiring Massara’s services as the 51-year-old could leave San Siro after just over a year.

Massara was of course influential in the last summer market which saw Ismael Bennacer, Rade Krunic, Theo Hernandez, Leo Duarte, Rafael Leao and Ante Rebic arrive.
