AC Milan could launch their move for Udinese star Rodrigo De Paul if they secure a top four finish this weekend, a report claims.
According to a report from Calciomercato.com, a lot of clubs are keen on signing De Paul when the summer mercato opens given he has racked up 19 goal contributions this season, with 9 goals and 10 assists in another underwhelming season for the Friulians.
The old asking price for the Argentina international was €35m but now the fact the player wants to move on and the lack of financial power that the big clubs have after Covid means that €30m plus bonuses could very well be enough.
He has no shortage of admirers, both in Italy and abroad, with Inter very keen put also Milan, who are ready to pounce if things go to plan on Sunday night and a Champions League return is achieved. We will have to wait a few more months to see where he ends up, but Atletico Madrid and the Premier League – possibly Watford – are also possible destinations.
