CM: Milan, Inter and PSG among the teams observing as Atalanta playmaker is destined to leave

By Oliver Fisher -

His exclusion from the squad for the match against Roma has confirmed the seemingly inevitable: Papu Gomez will leave Atalanta in January.

Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com) reveals some background on Gian Piero Gasperini’s decision. The paper claims that the club did not like the attitude that the Argentine playmaker has shown in the last few days, even in his meeting with the management, and for this reason they have endorsed the choice of the coach to exclude him.

Le Dea are ready to sell him next month and they want to solve in a short time. Therefore, just before or immediately after Christmas a decisive meeting will be staged to tackle the issue of establishing the economic terms of the separation.

There are several clubs awaiting the outcome of this summit: Milan, Inter, Napoli and Roma but also PSG and other clubs from abroad are ready to move if conditions are favourable.
