One of the areas that AC Milan must address this summer is the role of right winger, and there remain a few different options on the table.
According to Calciomercato.com, the aim for the management is to sign a new right winger, possibly left-footed, who brings goals and assists in greater quantities than the impact had in recent seasons by Messias and Saelemaekers.

Luka Romero could arrive on a free transfer from Lazio but if he does sign he would be considered a talent to be developed and not a starter ready for an immediate impact. It is a similar discussions for Arda Guler, for whom the race gets more and more intense each day.
There are therefore other targets in find. The main name – but perhaps not Stefano Pioli’s favourite – is that of Christian Pulisic who can leave Chelsea but has an asking price of over €20m. He is predominantly a left winger who is right-footed, hence Pioli’s concerns.
The alternative is Samuel Chukwueze for whom Villarreal want €30m and there is also the issue of him being a non-EU player, with the potential sale of Junior Messias something to factor in.
Finally in the background remains the name of Adama Traoré, whom Jorge Mendes offered at the time of Rafael Leao’s renewal and who could still be signed on a free transfer after his release from Wolverhampton.
In addition to Messias there is also the names of Saelemaekers, Divock Origi and Ante Rebic that could leave. The sale of Sandro Tonali has added to the transfer funds available, but lightening the wage bill is an equally important task.
I thought Pioli was to be more involved and kinda points out which player(s) he prefers? No point in buying players he doesn’t know how to deploy. So far Pioli’s been quiet – precisely why he’s seen as a well behaved and ideal by Cardinale. But for his sake, I just hope that the new signings would be in line with his wishes.

Has he? Or does he stay out of media as much as he can? Does the media really know everything that is happening inside Casa Milan – and the homes of the management? Do they wiretap their phone calls? Do they read their messages to each other?
Pioli has never been “those guys” who like to blabber. That’s one of the reasons why RedBird prefer him. He’s a quiet little puppet that doesn’t say what he really thinks.
