CM: Milan offered chance to sign €45m Man Utd, Chelsea target – the club’s response

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have been offered the chance to sign Andre Onana from Ajax as a replacement for Gianluigi Donnarumma, a report claims.

According to Calciomercato.com, Onana wants to leave Ajax next summer and the Eredivisie side will do so in the face of an acceptable offer as per agreements between the company and the player’s entourage.

With doubts over the future of Gianluigi Donnarumma, the idea has been proposed by some intermediaries to bring Onana to the Rossoneri if the Italy international were to leave this summer.

Milan were very clear on their stance: there is no certainty for Gigio’s farewell and the situation needs to be defined in the coming weeks after meetings with agent Mino Raiola.

However, one signal suggests Onana would not be a welcome target in any case: the report mentions that Milan do not want to spend a large portion of any money raised from Donnarumma’s sale on a replacement, and Ajax have fixed their request at around €40-45million for Onana.

Onana is an idea, but under these conditions he remains clearly behind other names such as Udinese’s Juan Musso, plus Chelsea and Manchester United are apparently keen.
