AC Milan are accelerating their pursuit of Udinese star Rodrigo De Paul and have begun talks over a deal, a report claims.
According to what is being reported by Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri have begun to negotiate with Udinese for the purchase of the Argentine, as Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have decided to pursue De Paul as a reinforcement for the attack.
Udinese are asking for at least €35m in cash but it is worth factoring in that the Argentine would cost the Rossoneri less than Calhanoglu in terms of salary, as he is willing to sign for €3.5m net per season.
Milan would like to include some counterparts, with the names of Matteo Gabbia, Daniel Maldini, Rade Krunic and Jens Petter Hauge all candidates, though the latter appears to be against joining Udinese.
Nonetheless, De Paul would be the ideal attacking midfielder for Stefano Pioli while Milan continue to wait and see what the future of Calhanoglu. The club has chosen its possible replacement, work is in progress.

The articles sounded fine until the name Daniel Maldini was included on the offers to trade for De paul there is no way that maldini goes to any tema unles is a loan, but on a premannet deal i don’t think so, I will trade Leao with ablinlnof an eye, he is good but don’t have a wining mentality or at least don’t show it on the pitch, he never convinced me i belive that was the worst purchase since Elliot took over, he has the quality and skills to be a star he just simply don’t want to work hard, i will take Hauge over Leao every day, the Kid has a warrior spirit
The best would be for Hauge to stay and fight for his place. He’s a good, promising player.
