CM: Milan prepared for offers from two clubs for Krunic in January

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan are expecting to receive offers from both Lyon and Fenerbahce in the January transfer window for Rade Krunic, a report claims.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, the agent of Krunic has been given permission by Milan to speak to other clubs and that is expected to result in both Lyon and Fenerbahce presenting offers to the Rossoneri and to the Bosnian midfielder himself.

Krunic came very close to leaving Milan for Fenerbahce towards the end of the summer transfer window but with his unexpectedly important role in the midfield towards the end of the 2022/23 season, the Rossoneri chose to keep him.

With the influx of new midfielders, and the return of Ismael Bennacer from injury, Krunic does not enjoy the same stature in the squad and Milan are clearly ready to cash in on him.

It is no surprise that Fenerbahce are back in the frame as their interest never really went away, but Lyon are also interested as they are having a terrible season in Ligue 1 and need reinforcements in January.

Krunic had agreed on terms with the Turkish side in the summer so it is logical to assume that they are the favourites to sign him over Lyon.
