CM: Milan pushing for €35m Calhanoglu replacement – five sales planned to fund the move

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are ready to move to secure Hakan Calhanoglu’s replacement but some sales must take place first, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com writes how Milan are moving with purpose for Rodrigo De Paul and they have a concrete interest, with directors Frederic Massara and Paolo Maldini considering the Argentine as the ideal signing to increase the quality level of the squad. He can play behind the striker or as a winger and this flexibility is convincing the Rossoneri to attempt to sign him.

The asking price of Udinese is €35m while Milan can count on the satisfaction of the player who is pushing to join the Rossoneri. Udinese have already refused an offer from Atletico Madrid because at the moment they won’t consider any counterparts.

This is why Massara and Maldini are looking to sell five players to help fund the move: Laxalt, Conti, Caldara, Castillejo and Krunic. The big maneuvers have just begun.
