CM: Milan reach agreement in principle with Roma over defender including discount

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan and Roma are in the final stages of negotiations concerning the full-back’s permanent move, according to a report.

The latest from Calciomercato.com confirms that the discussions between Milan and Roma for the permanent signing of Florenzi by the Rossoneri is close to completion as there is a basis of understanding between the clubs which will be finalised in the next few hours.

Directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara already secured a €4.5m option to buy last summer when the initial loan was agreed, but after talks with the Giallorossi they were able to obtain a sizeable discount that could nearly half that figure.

The report claims that a fee of between €2.5m and €3m (including bonuses) should be the final price and it is good news for both Stefano Pioli – who is a great admirer of his experience and versatility – as well as Florenzi, who has always reiterated his desire to remain.

  1. Milan will buy someone who can play as right winger from Roma, his surname name contain i, o, and z.

    Media: Zaniolo

    Truth: Florenzi

  2. Florenzi’s experience will be crucial, he’s a leader both on and off the field, and for 3m that’s a bargain. It will keep Calabria on his toes too, and add some quality to the squad depth if we are going to make a proper run in the Champions League this season.

    1. bcs i think he just keeps pestering other clubs and they like ye, just go away and bother someone else.
I really don’t know, he has probably saved us 20m by his pestering. I also don’t understand how you get a discount on 5m, but take it and run with it
