AC Milan have received requests from La Liga teams for youngster Luka Romero after his lack of involvement for the Rossoneri so far this season, a report claims.
As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, Romero has only managed to play 21 minutes of competitive football since the 2023/24 season began, despite impressing in pre-season and seemingly having a role to play.
The form of Christian Pulisic and the presence of Samuel Chukwueze means it is hard for him to break through on the right wing and clubs in La Liga think there is an opportunity for a loan move.
As things stand, though, Stefano Pioli and Milan as a whole do not wish to loan or sell the Argentinian as they think he is clearly set to develop rapidly.
Given he arrived on a free transfer from Lazio, any sale would be almost an entire capital gain for the Rossoneri, but that is not the plan at this stage.
Loan him out if you’re not going to play him. He has a lot of promise. And letting young players rot on the bench is a waste. Just please don’t sell
Yes, he and Pellegrino should go on loan after training with the 1st team for half a season.
In a big emergency we can always pull Simic who did well in pre-season

I think most people did. Training with the first Milan team for half a year is as valuable for a youngling like Romero as real playing time.
Prolonged bench time is another matter.
Romero was more involved in play with his teammates and showed better passing game and awareness in his 15 minutes than Chuk in his three games. Those 30 millions wasted would be better spent on a quality DM or ST.

Mark my word, Guys.. Reason that management doesn’t want to loan him out is that It is last season of Rafael Leao in Milan. Management want him this season adapt to the system and team.. Once He will be sold in coming summer, Pulisic will change to left and Chukwueze and Romero will keep right side…

@jojo Romero is only better than Chuks maybe in terms of finishing but Chuks is better in through passes. If you watch his highlights from Spain you would see this!
Pioli must find minutes for both Argentinians and our youngsters like Simic as well. It is critically important.

I don’t get why Furlani/Moncada decided to brought this guy when they already brought Pulisic and Chuk for RW. And he couldn’t play on LW either with Leao, Okafor, and Pulisic who also can play on the left side.
The only way i can see Romero could get more playing time is if next season Giroud and Jovic didn’t renew. That way Pioli can put Okafor as a full fldge CF and Romero become Leao backup.
Too early to judge, he knew that he is 4th choice wingers, after Leao, Pulisic, & Chukwueze. 5th, if count Okafor as a winger too. Kalulu & Thiaw also wait for his chance and it was went very well.
Luka Romero already had his debut, so just wait for the other chance. Kalulu & Thiaw even had to wait for months for their debut at ACM.
I haven’t seen any productive from Samuel chukwueze, meaning he must give minutes to Luka reomero because he at least showed something in pre season plus. He must get a chance please
Chukuweze didn’t do anything always wasting chances. Give Romero the chance so you will see how he will shine, I don’t know the reason why chuku gets more minutes than Romero while he is not even doing anything
