With Olivier Giroud’s contract coming to an end and Luka Jovic not viewed as the future primary striker, somebody else needs to be brought in on a long-term deal.
At the moment, it seems Bologna’s Joshua Zirkzee is the favourite target of Geoffrey Moncada. He has impressed this season in Serie A and Bologna would be open to a sale for the right price. The likes of Arsenal and Manchester United are on the scene, though.
Elsewhere, RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko is another option. He has got a €50m release clause which the German side will not negotiate on. It is a big price tag but at least Milan know where they stand with the negotiations.
The longer-term target is Lille’s Jonathan David, who could prove to be the cheapest of the three given by the summer, he will have one year left on his Lille contract.
