CM: Milan target to replace Ballo-Toure chooses Wolfsburg move

By Euan Burns -

One of AC Milan’s targets to replace Fode Ballo-Toure when he leaves the club has opted to take a move to Wolfsburg instead of waiting, a report claims.

As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, Sassuolo’s Rogerio is set to move to the Bundesliga in a move that has an impact on both Milan and Inter.

Milan want a new left-back to be backup for Theo Hernandez, and along with Riccardo Calafiori at FC Basel and Luca Pellegrini at Juventus, Rogerio was a serious target.

It also means that Robin Gosens is now not going to be moving to Wolfsburg, which impacts Inter’s ability to sign Carlos Augusto from Monza.

He is a target for Juventus as well but it would not be a surprise of Milan started to weigh up Augusto as an option given Monza have already signed Giorgos Kyriakopoulos from Sassuolo in anticipation of his departure.

What is clear is that Rogerio will not be replacing Ballo-Toure.

  1. Actually it’s only between club for now, there’s no agreement with the player.

So if we really want him, we can hijack the move but we must act fast. Also give acceptable offer to Sassuolo.

But I can see Milan won’t sign LB before sell Ballo Toure.
