CM: Milan tried twice to sign Schalke defender but player is still pushing for move

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan tried twice in the summer transfer window to sign Ozan Kabak from Schalke but were unsuccessful, according to a report.

Milan were linked with moves for a number of defensive targets during the summer transfer window but one of the names that emerged late and was a theme of deadline day was Ozan Kabak of Schalke.

An intermediary who was involved in the negotiations revealed his belief earlier in the week that the hopes of Kabak joining Milan are far from over, and Calciomercato.com believe the same thing.

According to their latest report, the Rossoneri tried twice in the recent summer window to strike a deal with Schalke which would have in turn eased their defensive crisis, but without success.

Despite this, the Turkish defender has not given up on a dream move and is apparently pushing to join Milan, something which could become important if interest is reignited in the winter.
