CM: Milan’s Vlahovic dream remains alive – €60m striker gives green light to move

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan believe that they can land Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina this summer, according to a report.

As Calciomercato.com writes, Zlatan Ibrahimovic limped off the field in last night’s 3-0 win over Juventus with a knee problem that is to be evaluated. It represents signs of a past injury and an advancing age, and for this reason Milan are seriously thinking of Vlahovic as an option for the future.

He has a contract expiring in 2023 with a renewal still far away and a market value of around €60m. Among the strikers on the Milan wish list, the Serbia international is the favourite of the Rossoneri, but there is ample competition because Borussia Dortmund and Roma are keen.

Milan will continue to negotiate the renewals of Donnarumma and Calhanoglu, will work on the redemption of Tomori, and then they will think of a striker to sign. Vlahovic is preferred, but Milan are not thinking of paying €60m especially since Maldini and Massara who have received the green light from the player. Of course, Champions League will help.
