Youssouf Fofana remains AC Milan’s number one midfield target and they seem to have a clear path in their pursuit, according to a report.
Calciomercato.com recall the social media exchange between Moussa Diaby and Fofana in which the pair joked about the Monaco man joining Milan, but now another assist has arrived in the Rossoneri’s bid to land him.

West Ham were reported by several sources to have made a €35m offer for Fofana but he turned them down, and rather than upping their bid they have turned to another defensive midfielder, Guido Rodriguez.
The Hammers’ proposal for the Frenchman seemed to raise the demands of the Monaco sporting director Thiago Scuro, but now they are expected to sign Rodriguez on a three-year deal and thus can be considered out of the race.
Milan will also leverage the fact Fofana’s deal runs out in 11 months and the player strongly wants the move, so they are now working to find a compromise between the request of €20m and the offers have increased from €12m to €14m to €17m.
Contacts are continuing, despite Scuro himself warning Milan in a recent interview: “The agreement with Fofana provides that he can leave Monaco this summer. Now, however, the conditions must be respected.”

The best part is that Man Untd is gonna sign Ugarte soon since PSG is finalizing Joao Neves. Atletico agreed fee with Chelsea for Gallagher and I think salary is just a matter of time. So, except for Milan no one will go for him, giving us the advantage…
Going once, going twice, and……….cancelled or sold @ 19M
