CM: Pioli has a tactical objective over the international break involving Ibrahimovic and Giroud

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has an objective in mind while he has both of his main strikers available over the international break, a report claims.

Ibrahimovic trained with the squad for the first time after undergoing knee surgery at the end of last season, meaning his return is imminent and he is expected to be fit for the first game after the break is over, which is obviously a big boost for Pioli and the squad..

According to a report from Calciomercato.com, Pioli has sensed an opportunity now Ibrahimovic has returned to training with the rest of the group and Giroud has not been called up by the French national team.

During this week of rest for the commitments of the respective national teams, Pioli’s intention is to make the Swede work with the Frenchman in view of possibly using them both up front together in the first game against Lazio after the break, scheduled for September 12.
