CM: Pioli no longer has the ‘confidence’ of Milan’s management – the situation

During the start of this season, AC Milan have always reiterated their confidence in Stefano Pioli and his staff. However, after the draw against Salernitana on Friday evening, this is no longer the case and his potential last chance is coming up.

Milan needed to win the game against Salernitana, heading into it as clear favourites despite the many absences. The draw was yet another disappointing result and Pioli is now truly on his last life, as reported by Calciomercato.com this afternoon.

More so than the result, the Rossoneri management is upset over the injury of Fikayo Tomori, the 31st injury for the club since the season started. And as a result, Pioli no longer has the ‘confidence’ of the management and the Sassuolo clash is certainly his last chance.

Even if Milan were to beat the Neroverdi, the management now wants to make changes to the athletic staff of Pioli. The latter will simply have to accept this if he wants to continue at the club, and if not then the Rossoneri will find a replacement.

Pioli has a lot to think about during his Christmas dinner, that’s for sure, but at this point it doesn’t look like he can turn things around.
