One of the targets on AC Milan’s wish list ahead of next summer is Noah Okafor of Red Bull Salzburg, and an asking price has reportedly been set.
Milan got a look at Okafor first hand in the Champions League group stages as he scored the opening goal in the 1-1 draw against Salzburg in Austria with a lovely solo goal having beaten Pierre Kalulu on the dribble, and the rumours then started about the Rossoneri’s interest.
Calciomercato.com confirm that Okafor is among the names circled in red by the Milan management in view of next season, with the Swiss international therefore a top target for an attack that could do with some reinforcing.
Salzburg have made their stance clear: they would only consider selling Okafor in the summer transfer window if they receive a bid in the region of €25m. In the past that is an amount Milan have been willing to spend on young talent, but we will see if a concrete negotiation develops.
This is less than what they said a couple of months ago. Then it was €35-40m, now it’s 25. Hope this one is true and not the last one, lol. And €25m is certainly an affordable price, so if we can get him for that sum that would be great.
