CM: Salzburg set price for forward as Milan and Premier League clubs take note

Red Bull Salzburg have set their asking price ahead of the January transfer window with interest in Noah Okafor growing, according to a report.

According to what is being reported by Calciomercato.com (via SempreMilan.it), Salzburg have set the price of Okafor’s at around €35m, a figure that has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs.

Milan have not yet sent any official offer for the player but have merely expressed interest, and they remain at the window while waiting to understand how Rafael Leao’s future will be resolved.

If the Portuguese winger does not renew his contract, he will be sold in summer and then Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will be able to launch a concrete attempt to sign Okafor from Salzburg.

The Swiss winger scored against the Rossoneri in the opening group stage game of the Champions League, and continues to impress for the Austrian champions having also netted against Chelsea.
