Torino are reportedly waiting for a signal from AC Milan regarding the future of midfielder Soualiho Meite as they begin to plan for the summer.
According to Calciomercato.com, Torino are eager to know if Meité’s adventure at Milan will continue beyond the summer, but even if it does not is practically certain that the French midfielder’s time in Turin has come to an end. He joined in the January transfer window on a paid loan with an option to buy, and it would be fair to say the 27-year-old has been up and down so far.
President Urbano Cairo hopes that the Rossoneri club will be able to buy the Frenchman outright, but if this is not the case and Meité returns to Turin, he would be put on the market at the end of the season. Meité is no longer part of the plans of the Granata, who hope to be able to monetise as much as possible from his sale.
