CM: Zaniolo and Roma reach ‘point of no return’ – Milan and Juventus observe

By Oliver Fisher -

Roma are not happy with Nicolo Zaniolo’s behaviour with Juventus and AC Milan monitoring the developments closely, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com reports that Roma are ‘tired’ of Zaniolo’s behaviour and in particular the way that he has spoken in the media. The forward talked about interest from top clubs and being flattered by it but he never spoke about Roma, and so ‘a point of no return has been reached’.

The goal in the Conference League final a month ago is not enough and the club have decided that they will not renew the player’s current contract, which is expiring in 2024, at least until September when the market is closed.

Zaniolo will report for preseason training on 5 July together with the rest of his team-mates, and despite the fact Roma are angry a sale seems out of the question. Roma will not accept counterparts or anything less than €60m which Juventus and Milan do not want to pay, but things can quickly change in a red hot market.

  1. Just keep that mediocre player there and make him legend. Never linked it to AC Milan anymore. I support AS Rome to put 60m euro price tag that will make AC Milan scared and never chase that mediocre anymore
