Commisso compliments ‘strong’ Milan ownership as Chiesa and Milenkovic speculation grows

AC Milan’s ownership and management have received a compliment from Fiorentina’s president Rocco Commisso regarding their project.

There is an abundance of media speculation suggesting that the axis between Milan and Fiorentina at the moment is very hot, with suggestions that the Rossoneri are targeting La Viola’s star duo Nikola Milenkovic and Federico Chiesa, plus possibly even captain German Pezzella.

Commisso – who was actually reportedly close to buying AC Milan at one point – is a tough negotiator and will not let his prized young assets leave easily or on the cheap, however he did suggest that Milan have the means to satisfy his requests.

The Italian-American businessman spoke about the Rossoneri’s ownership during an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport that was released in Friday’s edition, and his comments were transcribed by MilanNews.

“Are the Elliott group ready to bring Milan back to high levels? Milan have a different ownership, but it is a strong ownership,” he said.

“They made some important changes. I think Milan want to get back to the top.”
