Sergio Conceicao understands where the comparisons with Antonio Conte come from, but he does not believe that they are entirely accurate.
Conceicao has been dubbed by some as the ‘Portuguese Conte’ because of his style of management, a tag that arose when he was at Porto. During his press conference on the eve of facing Conte in Napoli-Milan, the Rossoneri coach was asked what he thinks about the comparisons.
“I’m here to do the best job I can. I give all of myself, passing my passion onto my players. I think the comparisons being made are because of this. The passion that Antonio and I have for our jobs, as coaches and before as players,” he said.
“Aside from our passion for football, I think football is a part of life. We’re passionate about life, about football, family and about friends. At the end of the day we live with intensity, which I like and I see that Antonio is similar.
“Everyone has their own characteristics. I’m different to him. The most important thing is not Antonio and Sergio, but Napoli versus Milan.”

You can’t even clean Conte’s shoes. Can’t wait to see you leave.
Sergio Conceicao has got right. most important is AC Milan. let’s hope that he will rescue the season in derby of Milano. I still believe that Conceicao could give us a lot of hard work to end of the season. I appreciate his engagement in difficult situation and really hard pressure of media and supporters.
