Conflicting reports emerge regarding potential Milan offer for Barcelona midfielder

By Oliver Fisher -

There are contrasting reports regarding the potential interest of AC Milan in Barcelona midfielder Miralem Pjanic, who can leave this summer.

According to reports in Spain from fichajes.net (via PianetaMilan), Pjanic is a target for Milan as they look to reinforce their midfield department ahead of the 2022-23 season. He is under contract at Barcelona until 30 June 2024 but after a season on loan at Beşiktaş it has become clear he is not part of Xavi’s plans.

Barça would gladly sell the former Juventus man and there is therefore talk of a possible offer from Milan based on a loan with option to buy deal. The problem is the high salary, but Barca could help by offering to pay part of it.

However, according to reports from SportMediaset no confirmations have arrived regarding the potential of the Bosnia international making a return to Serie A with the Rossoneri, and there are no credible Italian sources reporting the news either.

  1. I hope they take that guy
    He still has potential
He was one of the best In Italy after Pirlo left
That guy will bring so much value

    1. Can I have some of what you’re smoking? He can probably still hit a nice free kick, but other than that you’d be playing with 10, a total passenger out there.

  2. Arthur for Pjanic.. A deal that has never work for either side. That was the work of the former barca management. Eric Abidal and co then really damaged barca

  3. Trojan!!!! That guy left Italy long time ago, go to Baca not giving success go to Turkey I think if he was so good they will keep him

  4. He was really top class, don’t know what happened to him, maybe age?

Dude was about the best CM in the league and in entire Europe.

    But at 32, hell NO.
    Thank you

  5. …how way!!🤮
At the way the Milan management is going they would never gotten one of our prized germ Raphael Leo if they ran the club this way.

  6. Serious question, would you prefer him to Brahim Diaz? For me, yes. Diaz has proven his isn’t up to scratch. At least with Pjanic eve if he’s slows you know he can pass the ball well and won’t get muscled off the ball either
